Foster Care Fortnight™ is The Fostering Network’s annual campaign which was set up to help to raise awareness for fostering and to demonstrate the difference foster care makes to thousands of children’s lives.
Taking place between the 13thth and 26th May, we hope that during this time we can draw attention to the real need for more foster carers. Currently, over 7,000 new foster families are needed in just the next 12 months in order to care for children and young people.

One of the main themes for this year’s Foster Care Fortnight 2019 is ‘Change a Future’. We’re going to be asking our foster carers how they have changed children’s futures, and about they and their foster children’s achievements since fostering.
