Salary:£16,100 to £20,000 DOE pro rata
Hours:37.5 per week – 3 month fixed term contract

This role is a 3 month fixed term contract.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, friendly and supportive HR Administrator to join our busy HR team based in Bradford.
Working as part of the HR team, the role will involve working within a motivated and passionate team to deliver all the HR admin and compliance checks for new starters, from the point they have been offered the role to the date they join the organisation.

This central team provides services to our Fostering and Residential services, ensuring that all the appropriate HR compliance checks are successfully completed, providing regular updates to Managers on when candidates will be available to start.

On a day to day basis, you will be:
• Conducting pre-employment checks including DBS, and ensuring all HR compliance processes are completed in line with Company policy and procedure.
• Obtaining references
• Carrying out eligibility to work checks
• Liaising with candidates, managers and recruitment agencies.
• Liaising with payroll and co-coordinating new starter induction.
• Using the company databases (full, comprehensive training will be provided)

Experience and Abilities:

We would very much like you to have worked in HR Administrator role previously and experience in managing candidates through pre-employment checks in a social care or similar setting will be advantageous.

You should also have excellent administration skills, an eye for detail, be IT literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. You should be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, managing your workload in line with KPI’s and according to the priority in terms of business needs.

You should have great communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build relationships with people at all levels. You should be able to work as part of a team, whilst also using your initiative and raising any concerns or issues to the relevant person.
