Compass Community, a dynamic and innovative provider of children’s services, are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person with good inter-personal skills, sales skills and an interest and commitment to working in a child-centred environment.

The applicant will help build the Protecting Rights in a Care Environment (PRICE) franchise by promoting, selling, co-ordinating and delivering Price training externally. They will provide in-house Price and other training as specified by the company. The substantive aspect of this role will be training delivery.

Responsible for generating new Price business
Qualify leads generated via research / data/ marketing campaigns by cold calling new customers
Meet prospective customers and sell Price
Support achievement of key performance indicators and other targets
Aim to grow franchise network

Qualified Instructor (or ability to become) in a recognised Behaviour Management and Physical Intervention model of training.
Practice based experience of managing challenging behaviour.
Significant experience of working in a childcare or similar setting including experience working at supervisory level
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Excellent networking and people skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to review and update training materials.
Self starter, able to work on own initiative, motivated by results with a positive can-do attitude.
A passion for this field of work and genuine interest in the development of holistic pro active / preventative strategies for supporting behaviour.
Strong motor skills and confidence on in delivering practical learning sessions.
Theoretical understanding of best practice issues in the management of challenging behaviour and confidence to teach.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
A commitment to own continuing professional development and active participation in gaining further knowledge and skills.
Able and willing to travel to various locations across the UK.
Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
Prepared to work flexible hours and regular overnight stays.
