Our Cardiff office is part of Compass Fostering Wales, one of the leading independent foster care services in Cardiff, South Wales. We know how hard our foster parents work and we value the amazing commitment they are making when they become a foster carer.

There is a shortage of foster carers in Wales. That’s why we have an office in Cardiff, with Supervising Social Workers throughout the region to support our carers.

If you’re interested in fostering in Cardiff and Wales, our Cardiff office is here to help. We’re open 9-5 Monday to Friday. If you need to speak to somebody, we have an out of hours service available at all times.

Fostering allowance cardiff

We recognise that looking after a child or young person has financial implications which is why as a foster carer you are paid a weekly fostering allowance which is made up of a professional fee for yourself and also a day to day living allowance for the child. There are a number of different factors which contribute to how much foster carers are paid per week. Compass average payments of £370 for every child per week living in your home.
