Compass Wales Cheer on Their Home Rugby Team

With the rugby season in full swing, Compass Wales were delighted to offer foster carers free tickets to local games – a gesture to celebrate their dedication and create special moments for the young people they support.

Carers arrived proudly wearing their Compass hoodies, filling the stands with warmth, team spirit and a strong sense of community. For many young people, the day became about far more than the match. Some even had the remarkable opportunity to meet the Welsh rugby team as they ran on and off the field, adding excitement and pride to an already memorable experience.

Foster carers such as Liz and Neil reflected on how meaningful the day had been. They spent valuable time with the young people in their care, cheering on their home team and creating memories that will stay with them for years, memories their young people can share with friends and revisit with confidence and joy.

Compass Wales recognises how experiences like these strengthen relationships, build self-esteem and remind young people that they have someone firmly in their corner. It was a day filled with joy, belonging and the unmistakable spirit of Welsh rugby.
