Compass Wales Joins in with Local Community
In September, Andrea, Therapeutic Practitioner for Wales, and Hellen, Head of Fostering Wales, took part in a community litter pick – a wonderful example of teamwork and local engagement.
The event was coordinated by MIRUs, an organization supporting adults with learning disabilities. Volunteers from a local primary school and Vision 21, a charity that empowers adults with disabilities, also joined the effort to help clean up the local area.
It was a positive morning filled with collaboration and community spirit. During the event, Hellen met with members of the Vision 21 Board of Trustees and connected with a local community partner to explore further opportunities for Compass Wales to volunteer and work together on future projects.
The litter pick reflected Compass’ ongoing commitment to giving back and strengthening the communities they’re proud to be part of.
